FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method for measurement potential distribution and intensity of processes consists in measurement at auxiliary cell 1 of current passing between operating electrode 10 and auxiliary electrode 11 when potential of operating electrode 10 is maintained equal to potential at the fixed point of the surveyed electrode 7. The surveyed electrode 7 is subject to dipolar polarisation, and potential distribution along its length is measured using a standard electrode 9 moved evenly along axis of the surveyed electrode 7. The device is intended to measure potential distribution and intensity of processes.
EFFECT: measuring parameters of processes at extended surface section at dipolar polarisation, which allow receiving true distribution of different processes talking place along conductor length.
