FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: mixture contains the following components, wt %: slag-forming material 50-65 and organic addition 35-50. As the slag-forming material the microsilica is used, and as organic addition mixture containing in wt %: glume of grain-crops 40-60 and shell of sunflower 40-60. The slag formed in the ladle has increased assimilation of the non-metal inclusions.
EFFECT: reduced heat losses during steel casting, reduced bad quality linked with temperature differences and steel solidification in the ladle, and reduced steel contamination by the non-metal inclusions.
