FIELD: nanotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: method of production of gold nanoparticles comprises interaction of microemulsion of an aqueous solution of gold salt in cyclohexane stabilised with Triton X-100 or Triton X-114, with the microemulsion of an aqueous solution of reducing agent in cyclohexane stabilised with Triton X-100 or Triton X-114. Then the mixture is kept at room temperature in air. And the reducing agent is used as alkali metal hydrosulphite, and the process is carried out at a concentration of Triton X-100 or Triton X-114 in the range of 0.6-2.3 M.
EFFECT: metal gold nanoparticles homogeneous in size are formed, without any admixture of non-metallic gold clusters having significantly smaller sizes.
