FIELD: technological process.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing nanosized gold particles, which are used in the production of computers, fiber optic devices, sensors, as well as in medicine. Gold nanoparticles are obtained by filling the channels of chrysotile Mg3Si2O5(OH)4 with an aqueous solution of hydrogen tetrachloroaurate HAuCl4, drying chrysotile with filled channels in air and reducing gold to metal in a stream of hydrogen when heated to 250°C for 2-6 hours. After that, chrysotile additionally kept at a temperature of 300-450°C for 2-6 hours. Then it is sequentially treated with a concentrated solution of hydrochloric acid for 1-2 hours and with a concentrated solution of hydrofluoric acid until the chrysotile is completely dissolved. The resulting suspension is centrifuged, the precipitate is introduced into a hot aqueous solution of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide with a concentration of 1-5 mmol/l and treated with ultrasound at a temperature of 50-70°C for 15-30 minutes.

EFFECT: invention allows obtaining spherical gold nanoparticles with a diameter of about 5 nm.
