FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: tool composite matrix is formed in graphite die including diamond or hard alloy inclusions and compacted. Compacted tool is heated to impregnation temperature with hot stamping and cooled in air to 350°C. Graphite die withdrawn, the tool is immersed into water with the room temperature and dried there after. After drying the tool is subjected to cryogenic processing by immersion in liquid nitrogen and held therein for 16-20 minutes. Composite matrix is moulded in graphite die with due allowance for expected level of residual strain in the tool after cryogenic processing.
EFFECT: higher quality and hardness of rock-destructing tool.
