FIELD: powder metallurgy and abrasives. SUBSTANCE: material is composed of, wt %: tungsten carbide 31-59, cobalt 1.5-8, relite 20, copper 37-41, and nickel 4. Mixture of components is hydraulically compacted in press-molds at pressure 30 to 80 MPa. Compacted material together with impregnating alloy are heated by high-frequency currents to 500-600 C with heating rate 20-30 C/min and then to 1083-1140 C with heating rate 90-100 C/min pausing for 120 to 240 s to allow impregnating alloy to infiltrate in free-running state into compacted material. EFFECT: enabled variation of physico-mechanical properties. 2 cl, 3 tbl, 3 ex
