SUBSTANCE: radio transmitter comprises a self-excited oscillator, a power amplifier and a transmitting antenna. The self-excited oscillator and the power amplifier use transistors with a frequency which matches the output frequency of the radio transmitter. The density of the substrate material of antenna units is selected to be minimal while ensuring protection of equipment, which is located in a protective housing behind the units, from cosmic radiation.

EFFECT: reduced weight and size of the radio transmitter.
