FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vibration metrology, in particular, to means of vibration diagnostics of printing units. The method of vibration diagnostics provides for stiff fixation of a printing unit in the area of its placement, building-in of a vibration detector and an emitter of harmonic sinusoidal oscillations (vibration emulator) directly into the printing unit at the stage of its development, vibration exposure of the printing unit to harmonic sinusoidal oscillations to the vibration emulator, pickup of amplitude-frequency characteristics (AFC) from the vibration detector, detection of resonance frequencies and their appropriate defects. At the same time diagnostics is carried out in process of printing unit operation. During measurements in a unit of preliminary processing of a software complex of digital signal processing (DSP) the produced AFC values are interpolated and brought to a single frequency net.

EFFECT: reduced diagnostics time.
