FIELD: testing of structures, vibration diagnostics of injuries of structures. SUBSTANCE: vibration transducers are put on surface of structure to be diagnosed, one in its symmetry center, others - in pairs in symmetry with respect to its symmetry center and symmetry axes at points of maximum computed deformation of first three forms of vibrations. Force exciting vibrations is applied in symmetry center on surface of structure, not less than 10% of design load on structure is set and is increased gradually with equal stepping. Frequency of loading is changed at each step with rate sufficient for development of resonance of structure. Degree of injury of structure is found by readings of each transducer and values of distortions or asymmetry characteristics of corresponding forms of vibrations which are found by formulas with are given in the specification. EFFECT: increased accuracy thanks to accounting for distortions of vibration forms with development of asymmetric defects in structures which bases of dimensions are commensurable with height. 2 cl, 9 dwg, 3 tbl
