FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises growing high-protein poorly encilaging and low-protein highly encilaging fodder plant species, their mowing, shredding and combined encilaging of the resulting mass with the introduction of preservatives in the silo of horizontal type. The poorly encilaging high-protein and low-protein highly encilaging plants are grown in separate fields, and their mowing is carried out in shifts, placing the resulting mass from different fields in layers in one silo, placing each layer of poorly encilaging high-protein plants between the layers of highly encilaging plants, forming of the latter the lower underlying and the upper finishing layers. And in the poorly encilaging mass the preservative is added, consisting of a mixture of table salt and antiseptic preservative in the ratio of 4:2-5:1 in an amount of 1 kg per 1 ton of the encilaging mass, to the highly encilaging mass - 2-3 kg of table salt per 1 ton of the encilaging mass, and in the upper finishing layer 1.0-1.5 kg antiseptic preservative is added per 1 ton of this layer.
EFFECT: simplifying of the technology of feed preparation while simultaneous improving their quality.
