FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves applying compression-distraction apparatus. The fracture is reduced and fixed. Two crossing wires are introduced through anterior calcaneus part, one of them being directed from rear part towards the sole from the inside at an angle of 30° to horizontal plane, another one being introduced from inside directed from sole backwards at an angle of 35° to horizontal plane and at 65° to the first wire. The wires are fixed on arc support connected to ring-shaped device base support by means of the threaded end face members allowing axial displacements together with ring-shaped base support, located at the level of lower one-third of tibial diaphyses being attached to them by means of two crossing wires, one of which passes through both shin bones, and another one passing only through tibia in parallel to its internal facet. A wire is introduced through calcaneal tubercle on the displacement side with rest in horizontal plane in perpendicular to the greater axis of the calcaneus. The wire ends are fixed on arms in pivotally mounted U-shaped support member axially and angularly movable relative to the arc support with threaded rods having hinges. U-shaped support member is connected to strip by means of threaded rod having biaxial hinge. The strip is mounted on ring-shaped base support in its back part. All kinds of displacements are eliminated. Stabilization is carried out.

EFFECT: stable fracture fixation; eliminated valgus or varus deformations of calcaneus; restored normal length of calcaneus; created favorable reposition and adaptation conditions; accelerated treatment course.
