FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-rate aeration for simplified addition of gas to fluid flow, particularly, to high-rate gas diffusion. This process comprises the steps that follow. Arranging of at least one diffuser at top section of the vessel. Vessel top part is filled with gas to create the gas zone. Unprocessed fluid is forced through at least one diffuser to create at least two fluid flows to collide in gas zone at shifting action. The latter makes fluid interact with gas. Now, aerated fluid is collected and removed from vessel bottom zone.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of operation.
