SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system and a method of receiving and synchronising content, such as a radio broadcast, on a communication device. Disclosed system for receiving and synchronising content on a communication device, which comprises: a source configured to provide first content to the communication device via a first channel; a host of the communication device configured to forward second content to the communication device via a second channel, the second channel being separate and independent from the first channel; wherein in operation, the first content and second content are synchronised in the communication device via a presentation layer of the communication device, wherein the system additionally includes an adaptive system arranged to take into account historic actions of the communication device and thereafter profiles the communication device to determine relevant second content to be pushed to the communication device.
EFFECT: reduced bandwidth requirements and high efficiency.
