In a wireless communication method, UE receives a configuration parameter for scrambling or descrambling a signal for which a larger number of scrambling sequences are defined for a particular cell ID for UE of a newer release. The UE communicates in a network having a base station and remote radio station(s) based on the received configuration parameter.
EFFECT: improved long term evolution (LTE) technology.
