FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: claimed system comprises gas pressure control valve, and intake-exhaust valve. It allows air of fuel mix intake into ICE combustion chamber at one position and discharge of used gases at opposite position. At intake, control system opens the gas pressure control valve while intake-exhaust valve is set to intake position. Control system traces the ICE pistons current position to define opening and closing moments for every valve in compliance with load at ICE. Said system sets the valve control slide valve to position whereat gas is fed from the drive system pneumatic accumulator into the valve drive piston chamber to be actuated. Compressor piston driven by air or fuel mix compressed in combustion chamber at compression stage or combustion products at expansion stage forces air into pneumatic accumulator to charge it.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of timing control.
