FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: in the final release phase the control slide valve system sets the intake and exhaust valves in the middle position, at which the air from the pneumatic accumulator goes to the drive piston cavity of the inlet-release valve. Thus the intake and exhaust valves are balancing around the middle position. The cylinder filling occurs on the suction stroke. At that the system sets the intake valve into open position and the exhaust valve into closed position. The valve timing overlapping and kinetic energy of the air flow or fuel mixture is additionally fills the ICE air cylinder with air or fuel mixture.

EFFECT: increase of cylinder filling.
