FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engine fuel feed systems. Invention discloses the ICE control procedure including the determination of fuel compensation factor (FCF) for calculation of the amount of oxygen-bearing fuel mixed with diesel oil fed into the engine. In compliance with one of the claimed versions, FCF proceeds from the ratio between expected oxygen concentration in exhaust gases and its actual concentration therein. FCF is used for evaluation of oxygen-bearing fuel amount in the fuel mix. Said evaluation can be used for correction of the exhaust temperature model in, at least, the determination of afterpurification device temperature, fuel liquefaction model influencing the oil replacement recommendations and diesel particle filter filling model.
EFFECT: simplified design, higher efficiency.
