SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the epilation head for the epilation device for plucking hair from human skin, comprising a cylinder made with the ability of rotation about the axis of rotation, at that the cylinder has a peripheral surface and comprises several plucking units for gripping and plucking hair, at that each of the plucking units comprises a movable clamping unit and a fixed clamping unit, and the movable clamping unit and the fixed clamping unit form the closing plucking gap, at that the movable clamping units have outer surfaces located substantially flush with the said peripheral surface of the cylinder, and the total area of the said outer surfaces of the movable clamping units is more than about 5% of the area of the peripheral surface of the cylinder.
