SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an epilator. The invention objective consists in creation of an epilator having a pain-relieving element representing a very space-efficient drive mechanism. The epilator contains an epilator head having at least one rotary disc-shaped element, a massaging element positioned close to the epilator head and the structure for the massaging element actuation. According to the invention, the drive design includes a cylinder to contact the periphery of the said at least one disc-shaped element in order to rotate the said at least one disc-shaped element round the rotation axis. The cylinder has a contact surface symmetrical relative to the rotation axis.

EFFECT: creation of an epilator having a pain-relieving element representing a very space-efficient drive mechanism.
