FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to glass industry and is applicable for manufacturing various glass products, e.g. bottles, glass plates, as well as for manufacturing ceramic products. A method for glass product manufacturing involves the following stages: raw material preparation, charge makeup, glass mass melting, product moulding and further cool-down. The moulding stage is followed by covering a product surface with a composition containing organo-tin or compounds organo-titanium compounds to reinforce glass with single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) with the SWCNT content in the composition makes from 0.005 % to 0.2% of its total weight.
EFFECT: strength improvement of the glass products and reduced raw-materials consumption.
