SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the manufacture of hollow glass products and can be used in the glass industry for the production of glass products mainly with a narrow neck. The proposed method for forming a rough blank with the neck up in the manufacture of narrow-necked glass containers consists in feeding hot glass into an open split mold and blowing out the glass. First, the hot glass is fed into an open mold, then the mold is closed and compressed air is supplied from below for the purpose of filling the throat part of the mold located on top with hot glass. Then air is supplied from above through the plunger of the neck part of the mold with a pressure that is excessive above the air pressure from below, for the purpose of filling the entire mold with glass and forming a hollow rough blank. To implement the method, a set of molds is proposed, which consists of an integral mold forming the lower part of the workpiece, a detachable and consisting of at least two parts of the mold forming the upper part of the workpiece, as well as a neck part that forms the neck area of the glass container and includes a plunger. In the lower form, there is at least one air injection hole in the bottom.

EFFECT: increase in the quality of manufacturing the neck part of the glass container.
