FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to rolling mill feeder and to method of its adjustment. Feeder comprises at least one feed roller and stripper on inlet and outlet relative to two working rollers. Every stripper comprises nozzle. At least one of said strippers and feed rollers can be adjusted in vertical displacement from one working roller relative to material direction through working rollers. Amount of displacement of said strippers and feed rollers on one of inlet and outlet sides differs from that of the other of at least one of strippers and feed rollers from one of working rollers to opposite inlet and outlet sides. Stripper every nozzle is arranged with clearance relative to one of working rollers.
EFFECT: independent adjustment of stripper nozzle height relative to working roller on inlet and outlet sides.
