FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular to crop production, and can be used for pre-sowing treatment of grain seeds (wheat, barley, oats). The method of pre-sowing treatment of grain seeds comprises treating seeds with glycoluril by wetting them in the seed dressers, followed by drying to loose condition. Seed treatment is performed with freshly prepared 0.5% solution of glycoluril, previously dissolved in water at a temperature of 90-95°C and cooled to room temperature of 20-25°C before use.
EFFECT: proposed method of pre-sowing treatment of seeds provides enhancement of seed germination and increase in plant growth in the early stages of development.
