SUBSTANCE: claimed method for seismic data processing and interpreting includes receipt of temporary seismic section, imaging of the seismic section as a set of seismic traces, determining spectral and energy characteristics for reflected and scattered waves as per data samples in the seismic section in shiftable sliding window and assessing reflective properties and local inhomogeneities for objects of geological environment. Moreover processing of data on energy production by scattered waves of seismic field includes determining of dispersion for each rate of the temporary section in the sliding window, decomposing of obtained dispersion values into trend and local components by one-dimensional adaptive energy filtration, decomposing of trend and local components of dispersion by wavelet conversion and time referencing of energy wavelet conversion for trend component of dispersion and energy for local component of dispersion.
EFFECT: improved accuracy and reliability of data on hydrocarbon search and exploration.
