FIELD: woodworking industry.

SUBSTANCE: cutting assembly of the timber saw comprises unstretched strip saws mounted in the guides and in the upper and lower rods passing through the holes formed on the ends of the saws. The lower rod is connected through the elastic elements with the cross-bar connected to the crank mechanism. The ends of the upper and lower rods are connected by the brackets with the ability to rotatable about the axis of the lower rod by an angle corresponding to the supply amount of the sawn material, with rigid fixing in this position. Between the ends of each bracket and sleeves put on the ends of the upper rods, the elastic elements are mounted with the ability of adjusting their rigidity.

EFFECT: improved quality of the resulting lumber and the machine productivity.
