FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to processing of man-made fibrous materials. Claimed device comprises inclined loader coupled by two air-cushioned feed rolls with conveyor belt with adjustable inclination angle α = 0° or 30°<α<50°. Inclined loader is coupled with grinder including shredder and screw feeder arranged abode the belt-type bulk batcher engage with hammer crusher. Mixer comprises vertical and horizontal turbulent mixers. The latter comprises the charge pre-compaction unit while pellets classifier and drier device includes a drum-screw drier. Claimed process comprises two-stage grinding with the use of shredder or one-stage grinding whereat additionally added are fuel-bearing or mechanically activated additives. Composite mix is mixed with organic binder at preliminary wetting by steam and compaction of the mix. Produced pellets are subjected to classification and drying or cooling at said drum-screw drier.
EFFECT: higher quality of pellets produced from man-made fibrous materials.
