FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: thin-layer settling tank is arranged according to a counter-current scheme, comprises a body and a sludge chamber. The body consists of two parts. The first part 2 of the body is connected to a spill way 1 and is made in the form of a sand catching chamber with a sand collector 6 in the lower part. The second part 3 of the body comprises a sludge chamber 7. Both parts of the body are separated with a thin-layer block 8, rigidly fixed on a partition 5, which separates parts of the body and is arranged perpendicularly to the axis of the spill way 1. In the second part 3 of the body there is a nozzle 4 for purified water release. The thin-layer block 8 is made in the form of inclined plates or tubular, in which instead of inclined plates they use inclined pipes of average diameter made from plastics.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of waste water treatment.
