METHOD OF ESTIMATING ANTIBACTERIAL THERAPY EFFICIENCY IN CASE OF DIALYSIS PERITONITIS Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC G01N33/48

Abstract RU 2567732 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention represents method for estimating efficiency of antibacterial therapy in case of dialysis peritonitis, which includes introduction of antibacterial medications into pack with dialysis solution with the following introduction into abdominal cavity, morphological research of dialysate, characterised by the fact that after carrying out cycle of dialysis solution replacement analysis of dialysate by method of wedge dehydration is performed, and dialysate is centrifuged at 1500 rpm for 10-15 minutes and 2 samples are collected - first one from upper half of test-tube, second - from the lower half, structure of salt crystals in dialysate is identified and in case of presence of linear crystals in central zone of facies in both samples, therapy efficiency is estimated as satisfactory and not requiring its continuation, in case of presence of linear crystals only in first sample therapy efficiency is estimated as satisfactory and requiring its continuation, in case of their absence - as unsatisfactory.

EFFECT: method application makes it possible to accelerate estimation of antibacterial therapy efficiency and increase estimation accuracy.
