FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery, and may be applicable for the implantation of a peritoneal catheter. Abdominal wall is pressed on both sides of the distal cuff, the tissues are traced over this area within the limits of their tension with the formation of a fold. Upper edge of the dorsal part of the cuff is fixed through the peritoneum, and the needle is punctured into the abdominal wall under the fold, and a through puncture is performed at an angle of 60–120° to the white line of the abdomen in the frontal plane under the control of a laparoscope with simultaneous puncture of the lower edge of the dorsal part of the cuff, and stick-out on the anterior abdominal wall is made at the distance of 3–4 cm from the stick-in. Free ends of the filaments, after they are pulled out, stretch to form a fold under the distal cuff. Knot is tied and it is immersed in the subcutaneous tissue.
EFFECT: method allows to ensure the tightness of the abdominal cavity, to reduce the risk of hematomas, to ensure the prevention of infectious complications.
