FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: three-phase balancing device comprises a unit of power rectifiers, gap choke, LC-filter of high frequencies, rectifiers control unit that includes network analysis unit and rectifiers switching control unit. According to the method signal from the network analysis unit are supplied to the rectifiers switching control unit, which extracts reverse sequence components and generates level-quantitised sinusoidal signals, matched in phase completely with sinusoids of negative-sequence currents and required for their further compensation. Thereupon phase with maximum negative-sequence current is identified and switched on, simultaneously permanent switching of two remaining phases is performed, which is proportional to current values of these phases with high frequency, and respective switching of rectifiers is performed so that current through the above rectifiers and gap choke passes in one direction.

EFFECT: increased operational speed and energy performance, improved electromagnetic compatibility.
