FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method includes sintering of material components in graphite crucible, in which bottom there is a drain opening; ensuring drainage of melted drops from the drain opening in the crucible and crystallization of melted drops in gas or cooling liquid placed over the crucible with forming granules of thermoelectric material in result of such crystallization. Flowing cooling liquid purged by gaseous nitrogen is used and the upper level of cooling liquid is placed 5-7 cm below the drain opening in the crucible.
EFFECT: higher conductivity of thermoelectric material with simultaneous reduction in phonon component of thermal conductivity.
