FIELD: chemical industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemical industry and metallurgy, namely to liquid granulation, and is intended for the production of spherical granules of substances. Substances are subjected to granulation whose melting point does not exceed 1150°C. The method is carried out in a device containing a reactor consisting of a housing and a lid connected to an inert gas supply system, with a crucible with a starting substance with at least one hole placed inside, a furnace block and retorts of the first and second cooling circuits. During assembly, the crucible is placed in the reactor vessel, and the lower edge of the reactor vessel is immersed to form a liquid gate into the retort of the first cooling circuit with a cooling liquid, which is combined with the retort of the second cooling circuit, having previously filled it with refrigerant. The coolant for the first circuit is used differently in physicochemical properties than the refrigerant of the second cooling circuit. The reactor is filled with inert gas, overpressure is created and the circulation of inert gas through a liquid gate. The furnace block is heated, and after the initial substance is melted, when it flows out of the crucible, its melt is filtered and granules are formed first in an atmosphere of inert gas, and then in the coolant of the first circuit and their scattering throughout the bottom of the retort of the first cooling circuit due to bubbling of the coolant with inert gas passing through the reactor.

EFFECT: granulation of a wide class of materials, materials of various degrees of purity, including high-purity ones is provided.
