FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to extraction of metals from red slime. Red slime is crushed down to the size of particles 5-500 mcm. The obtained powdery red slime is compounded with carbonaceous reducer to get a mix with the ratio of powdery red slime and carbonaceous reducer 88:12-95:5. The obtained mix is pressed with obtaining of the formed material selected from the group comprising pellets, blocks and briquettes. The formed material is melted, at least partially, to get the mass of iron and slag containing the mass of at least one metal from aluminium and titanium. The iron mass is separated from slag and from slag at least one mass of the metal selected from the group, comprising aluminium and titanium, is extracted.
EFFECT: efficient extraction of high purity metal mass is provided.
