SUBSTANCE: iron (1) is disclosed, comprising a container (10) for water made with the ability to accommodate liquid water, a heated shoe (20) comprising at least one opening (22) for discharging mist; the means (30) for spraying water, made with the ability to spray water from the container for water to generate mist of water droplets on the area (32) of mist generation; the means (40) for distribution of mist made with the ability of distribution of mist from the area (32) of mist generation to at least one opening (22) for discharging mist, comprising a distributing channel (42) extending from the air intake opening (46) along the area (32) of mist generation to at least one opening (22) for discharging mist; and a generator (44) of air flow, disposed in the said distribution channel or adjacent to it and made with the ability to generate the air flow which transfers water droplets from the area (32) of mist generation through the distribution channel (42) to at least one opening (22) for discharging mist.
