FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: device is meant for rock logging and drill positioning in the well. Said drill consists of transmitting antenna and inductor with vertical magnetization axis fitted at the drill and isolated from drilling pipes by nonmagnetic insert and measuring-computing hardware. The latter comprises three-axis gaussmeter units located at check observation points with known coordinates on the Earth surface. Computing hardware is connected with receiving antennas and gaussmeters via standard interface ADCs. Besides, claimed device incorporates a measuring-computing channel for drill orientation in space. Said channel consists of three-axis gaussmeter units located at the same check observation points with known coordinates on the Earth surface and extra computer connected via extra ADC with all three-axis gaussmeter units and three-axis units of magnetic gradient meters.
EFFECT: higher reliability, longer life, independent operation.
