FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of drops from gas containing the drops. Claimed device (10) comprises flow channel (5) for passage of gas with drops and its guidance in the main flow direction. Note here that, in fact, separating element (8) is arranged around said flow channel (5) for passage of circular flow directed from flow channel (5). Separating element (8) has bottom element (11) and closing element (12) and multiple connection elements (1) located between bottom element (11) and closing element (12) so that bottom element (11) and closing element are spaced apart by distance set by connection elements. Connection element (1) comprises wall element (3) for film-like drops with gas drops to be directed there along in direction of bottom element (11). Note here that wall element (3) has separation surface that features mean width larger than 1 mm. Separation element (8) comprises ring element (17) surrounding flow channel5 and has inner surface that features, in fact, the diameter of flow channel (5) gas drops inlet in said ring element.
EFFECT: better separation of minor drops.
