FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a catalyst for producing synthesis gas via catalytic vapour-carbon dioxide conversion of hydrocarbons, containing nickel oxide and magnesium oxide, deposited on porous nickel, with the following content of components, wt %: nickel oxide - 3.5-5.1, magnesium oxide - 8.6-10.4, porous nickel metal - the balanced. The invention also relates to a method of preparing a catalyst, which includes impregnating a porous nickel support in the form of a band with thickness of not less than 0.1 mm with magnesium nitrate solution, followed by steps of drying and calcining in a hydrogen current, impregnating with a mixture of magnesium and nickel nitrate solutions, followed by drying and calcining in a nitrogen current. The invention also relates to a method of producing synthesis gas via catalytic vapour-carbon dioxide conversion of hydrocarbons at 600-900°C in the presence of the catalyst described above.
EFFECT: producing a carbonisation-resistant, high-heat conductivity catalyst with stable activity for producing synthesis gas via catalytic vapour-carbon dioxide conversion of hydrocarbons.
