FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: hydrophobic liquid-phase settling reservoir for intra-field formation water treatment includes shell, formation water inlet unit, oil outlet unit, treated formation water outlet unit and a partition. The shell is made cylindrical with spherical side walls. The formation water inlet unit, oil outlet unit, treated formation water outlet unit are made as a horizontal pipe with vertical unions placed asymmetrically in regard to the pipe centre and at distance from the pipe edge per 15-20% of its length, thus forming a short and long sides of the pipe. The formation water inlet unit is placed in the top part of the shell and equipped with vertical feeding tube, a horizontal pipe placed in the shell axis and perforated from bottom and at the sides by elliptic openings with long axis oriented along the pipe, with short pipe end placed close to the side wall of the shell and long pipe end close to the bottom part of the partition. The oil outlet unit is placed in the top part of the shell, it is placed at the other side of the partition, it is equipped with vertical outlet unit, a horizontal pipe of diameter less than pipe of the formation water inlet unit placed along the shell axis close to the other side of the shell, with perforated elliptic openings on top with long axis oriented along the pipe, with short pipe end placed close to the side wall of the shell and long pipe end close to the top part of the partition. The treated formation water outlet unit is placed in the bottom part of the shell under the oil outlet unit, it is equipped with vertical outlet union, a horizontal pipe with diameter less than the pipe of the formation water inlet unit, which is placed in the shell axis with perforated elliptic openings in the bottom part with long axis oriented along the pipe, with short pipe end placed close to the side wall of the shell. The partition is made perpendicular to the shell axis covering the third part form the shell top; it is equipped with an opening in the top part placed at the level of the pipe intended for the oil outlet unit.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of formation water treatment from oil and mechanical impurities.
