FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water supply and ecology and can be used in systems for improving the quality of water. A water treatment plant based on delta-filtration technology includes a gravity filter with a granular charge 1, a force cup 4, a reaction chamber 5, a centre pipe 6 with a funnel 7 and a check valve 8, a source water pipe 11 with a unit for inlet of chemicals 12 and a nozzle 13 coaxial to the centre pipe, a filtrate tank 14 with a water-exchange opening 16, an air-exchange pipe 17 with a valve 21, a water drain 15 with a valve 18, means of controlling the quality of the filtrate 22. Under the granular charge 1 there is a reverse filter 2 and a water-distribution system 3. The force cup 4 is provided with a normally closed reverse valve 19. The air-exchange pipe 17 has a force cup 20. The valve 18 is in the form of a return valve. The nozzle 13 of the source water pipe 11 is embedded in the centre pipe 6.
EFFECT: invention simplifies the plant, reduces the height and weight thereof, enables to efficiently use source water, reduces power and flush water consumption, and improves the quality of the filtrate.
