FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method has been developed for structuring the granular loading of a water treatment filter, which includes fluidization of the ascending water loading, reversing the flow, impulsively shifting the fine fractions of the load grains relatively large and depositing it on the drainage, in which all operations after fluidization are performed in a time t=24.8kev, c, where k=h/h1 - coefficient of proportionality; h - initial height of the loading layer in the filter, m; h1=1 m - base height of the loading layer when developing the method, m; e - expansion of the load, in fractions of the initial height of the layer; v is the speed of the ascending flow by measurement or calculated for the projected filter by one of two known formulas-a complex multifactor for a filter with a non-typical load or a simplified one for a filter with a typical load.
EFFECT: anticipation of increased impulse water flow and reduced labour costs for designing a water treatment filter.
