FIELD: treatment of water.

SUBSTANCE: method of intensification of water treatment technologies by resource-saving delta filtration relates to the areas of water supply, ecology and industry, namely to water treatment technologies improving the quality of water from surface sources. The method of intensification of water treatment technologies by resource-saving delta filtration includes, for various classes of surface waters, a water treatment method - reagent rapid filtration (RRF) in filters with a single-layer granulometrically inhomogeneous granulated loading of equivalent grain diameter deq and previous water treatment methods, also additionally including rapid delta filtration (RDF): retentive volumetric filtration in a reagent plan with preservation of optimal doses of a coagulant/flocculant at the stage of water pretreatment, filtration with contact coagulation/flocculation with reduced doses of reagents or non-reagent filtration provided by downward water filtration, washing the load with an upward flow and structuring thereof by a downward flow of water. The intensifying modes of the RDF method are executed depending on the quality of the purified water by setting the corresponding degree of load structuring in the range from ineffective spontaneously settled to decreasing grain size in the direction of downward filtration at the optimal structuring time t≥24.8 h'ev, where h' is the height of the layer of loading with deq in filter, m; e is the expansion of loading with deq during washing, a proportion of the height of the layer; v is the speed of the flushing water flow for loading with deq, cm/s, selected experimentally in compliance with the requirement of non-clogging of the inlet loading pores.

EFFECT: controlled level of structuring of granulated loading of rapid filters according to height, depending on the quality of the purified water, prevented excessive energy consumption for structuring.
