FIELD: ecology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of drinking water supply and ecology. This method has been developed because of the gradual grinding of grains of the feed of the fast filter by turbulent water streams during its washing/structuring. In the method, the interval of the corrected washes/structuring is determined and the wash rate is calculated according to the formulas by the upward flow rate and the duration of the downlink structuring for each interval with the coefficients of the ratio of the heights of the loading layer – the initial and before the corrected washing – introduced into the formulas.
EFFECT: problem of reducing labor, money and time is solved by eliminating the periodic detection of variable values of the equivalent grain diameter of loading and stopping the filter; reduction in the number of filling up loads to one and reducing labor, material and energy costs to replace coarse-grained loading of fine-grained in the range of equivalent grain diameters, calculated by the two formulas of the invention – as providing reagent and reagent-free delta filtering regimes taking into account the color of water and washing with untreated water.
