HYDRAZINE NIOBATE-TITANATE, METHOD FOR PRODUCTION AND USE THEREOF Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC C01G33/00 C01G23/00 B01J20/02

Abstract RU 2568735 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of industrial liquid wastes and waste water from toxic and radioactive elements and can be used to remove a range of radioisotopes, such as technetium-99, palladium-107, and toxic environmental pollutants, including lead and hexavalent chromium. Disclosed hydrazine niobate-titanate in a crystalline pyrochlore structure, the chemical composition of which is expressed by the formula (N2H5) Nb1.2 Ti0.8 O3.2(OH)2.8·1.2H2O.

EFFECT: disclosed method of producing hydrazine niobate-titanate, which includes mixing aqueous solutions of pentaoxofluoroniobic acid and hexafluorotitanic acid and hydrazine, heating the obtained reaction mixture, separating the solid phase, washing and drying; the invention enables to obtain a novel sorbent, having ion-exchange and reducing properties.
