FIELD: production of antimony silicate as a sorbent for removal of ions of radioactive metals from acid liquids. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents the material containing alloyed antimony silicate used as a sorbent for removal of ions of metals, for example, ions of radioactive metals, from an acid liquid medium. Ions of metals can be removed selectively from a mix with other ions, such as ions of Na, K, Mg and Ca. The method provides for production of the material based on antimony silicate used for removal of ions of metals alloyed by one or more elements picked up from a group, consisting of wolfram, niobium and tantalum. The doped material is especially effective in the capacity of sorbent for removal of ions of metals in particular of strontium, from a liquid medium. EFFECT: the sorbent is especially effective for removal ions of radioactive metals. 10 cl, 13 dwg, 5 tbl, 9 ex
