FIELD: personal use articles.

SUBSTANCE: device is designed to compress and enter a sequence of stacks of products from tissue paper or similar products from feeding system located upstream to the rotating drum for packaging the stacks by means of performs of plastic film. The device comprises input means designed for input of the stacks to the drum in a radial direction, and the compression means designed for compression the stacks in front of the input in a direction substantially tangential to the drum, at that the compression means and the input means rest, respectively, on the lower lever and the upper lever protruding in the radial direction from the axis of rotation of the drum and located on the side of it. The levers are made with the ability of the rocking motion in a reciprocating manner about the axis independently from each other and from the drum, at that the drive means are provided for actuating the means of input, compression and the levers, respectively, consistently with each other and consistently with the drum rotation. The method of compression and input, intended for input of the stack of the folded products is carried out by means of the device described above.
