FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to facilities for detection of objects surrounding a vehicle. The device comprises a facility to capture images behind a vehicle installed on its board, a facility to transform images of the observation point into an image of aerial view, a facility to generate forms of differential signals for position combination of aerial view images, counting of pixel number demonstrating the difference for positionally combined images of aerial view and creation of frequency distribution, generation of information of forms of differential signals, a facility to detect a 3D object, which is a moving body, a facility to detect moving bodies, a facility to detect vehicle turns; a control facility, which suppresses detection of the 3D object as a moving body, if the vehicle turns.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of detection of a moving body during vehicle turn.
