SUBSTANCE: method is implemented by using a three-dimensional object detecting device provided with: a means of capturing images; means of setting a detection area to specify a detection area; a means of converting images to convert the viewpoint of the captured image; a means of detecting three-dimensional objects obtained at various times by means of converting an image to generate difference signal form information by counting the number of pixels; a means for setting reference areas of the image for the job; a means of extracting contour information; a means of calculating the reference; and a tool for calculating the object sharpness for calculating a brightness value of an image. Moreover, the means for detecting three-dimensional objects calculates the final sharpness based on the reference sharpness and sharpness of the object and specifies a difference threshold value based on the calculated final sharpness.
EFFECT: detectiing three-dimensional objects in difficult conditions.
