FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to interaction between mounted axle and track and can be applied to curved track sections. For increase in the life of "wheel-rail" system elements the points of interaction of said elements are shifted over the rail rolling surface toward the curve centre. Said shift is realized by varying the rail cant. Track profile includes two rails secured to the slippers by appropriate fasteners. Outer rail is located with the zero cant. Inner rail is arranged with the slope equal to two cants or with the cant like that at the main track. Wheel rim surface profile comprises conjugated profiles of the flange surface and rolling surface. Said profile is composed by the line consisting of straight line lengths and circle arcs.
EFFECT: longer life of the wheel and outer rail at curved track section, higher traffic safety.
