FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a driving and a gripping mechanisms connected to each other. The specified mechanisms are connected to each other by means of two flexible shafts with the possibility of their rotation relative own axes. Length L of each mechanism does not exceed the value L=2(√2D-d), where D - diameter of throughput hole of a pipeline; d - maximum cross dimension of the driving and gripping mechanisms. The driving mechanism is equipped with a video camera. Length of flexible shafts makes at least the distance from the video camera to optical plane of the plug. The driving and gripping mechanisms are connected to flexible shafts via crosspieces.
EFFECT: use of the invention provides for installation and removal of plugs in pipelines of arbitrary configuration.
