At the same time they additionally determine the value of pearlite microhardness, and if microhardness is less than 240 HV and does not exceed 50 HV of difference of microhardness values between pearlite and ferrite they make the decision on steel fitness for treatment by means of cold plastic deformation.
EFFECT: improved information value and reliability of detection.
